Jean Lorraine Earixson was born Jean Lorraine Anthony on July 17, 1927 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the eldest of four children born to Edward Archie and Andrea Nancy Anthony. The family relocated to Pasadena, California when Jean was 6 years old. Jean attended Pasadena High school, and was a cheerleader, or as she put it, "Pom Pom Girl", throughout high school. She even got to shake her pom poms at the Rose Bowl.

Jean Lorraine Earixson was born Jean Lorraine Anthony on July 17, 1927 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the eldest of four children born to Edward Archie and Andrea Nancy Anthony. The family relocated to Pasadena, California when Jean was 6 years old. Jean attended Pasadena High school, and was a cheerleader, or as she put it, "Pom Pom Girl", throughout high school. In her 20's Jean Married Chuck Murphy. At age 35, Jean met Ross C. Earixson at Ford dealership in Los Angeles. They married, and she became an instant mom to his 3 children, Christopher, Pamela and Bobbie Jean. They also had two daughters, Michelle Andrea and Patricia Jean. Jean commented that Ross was very active, and a wonderful husband.

Jean worked at JC Penny for 14 years, and volunteered at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital for many years in her later life.

Jean passed away just before 8 am on Wednesday morning, September 6, 2017. Jean was a vibrant, energetic, caring woman who put a smile on the faces of all who loved her. Jean leaves to cherish her memory her sister Janice Roberts of Washington; three step children Christopher (Kathy) Earixson of Australia, Bobbie Jean (Raymond) Garcia of Oregon, Pamela (Ron) Ax of Colorado; two daughters Michelle (Alvin) Earixson-Lamothe of Santa Ana, California, and Patricia (Kimberly) Earixson of Illinois, Kenny (Kim) Standley of Phoenix, Arizona: and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel with a graveside service to follow. Arrangements under the direction of Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, CA 92683. (714) 893-2421
